Hinge Problem
Hinge Problem
(OP)
I am attempting to make an adjustable clamp that has a hinge which can be adjusted for larger or smaller objects. The problem is that I am having trouble coming up with usable concepts. The one idea I have been able to think of is a simple mechanism that you would find in something like adjustable pliers. Was hoping for any thoughts or ideas on the topic. Thanks.

We’re kinda pullin your leg here. But, you gotta give us a clue as to what you are really trying to do, we aren’t mind readers as to what you are actually trying to accomplish, or what this whole set-up looks like. You can see the whole picture or imagine it, we can’t see it from here.

Thanks for the support, I thought that was about the right solution. Boy, you’re always playing the angles aren’t you, and lots of times going off on a tangent too.
