Measurement indicator

Measurement indicator

Measurement indicator

(OP)
Hi everybody!!!

Well I got a problem with a model on which I'm working on.
I created a volume area (I'm not sure of my translation sorry by advance)and I would like to put in an indicator that allows to record the maximum Stress. My issue is I'm not able to add it on my area.
Is there anybody who know what I'm talking about?

RE: Measurement indicator

I've used measures with good success (Insert>Simulation Measure). The maximum stress measure can be placed over selected geomtery: Edges and Surfaces are most useful.

Hi Meshninja!!

Thanks for your response.
Well I'm still trying to put an indicator on a volume (in my case my selected geometry is the volume)but it doesn't work...
So you mean that it's not possible; I can just place the indicator on a surface (or edges)?

RE: Measurement indicator

Tantax,

Using "selected geometry" allows surfaces, edges, curves or quilts to be picked. I don't think it will allow a volume to be picked.

MeshNinja,

yes that's the conclusion I made..but it would be very useful.
Well I think I don't really have the choise.
Anyway, thanks for your responses!!
