How to get back into mechanical engineering or good alternatives?

How to get back into mechanical engineering or good alternatives?

How to get back into mechanical engineering or good alternatives?

(OP)
I have a BSME with 3+ years of experience in one job which ended way back in 2006. How can I get back into it? Should I try for entry level ME jobs, and/or technician/assistant jobs? What might I do to renew my skills? What are good alternatives to engineering jobs?

Thanks

RE: How to get back into mechanical engineering or good alternatives?

A great way of getting back in my opinion would to step up and take a MSc. But maybe getting back to school isn't an option?

RE: How to get back into mechanical engineering or good alternatives?

"Get back into it"? From what?

Never mind. Engineers are supposed to leave problems nebulous and underdefined.

Just jump back in with both feet and see how you do. What's the worst that can happen? Nothing.

Good luck,
Latexman
