VFD for fan speed control
VFD for fan speed control
(OP)
Hi,
We have a purge fan for a gas/gas heater. The current method to control the flow is to use an inlet box vane control. The client has proposed using a VFD instead. Would this mean that we no longer need the Inlet box vane and hence no actuator to operate it?
Thanks

If you need to shut the duct close when fan is off, you will still need the vane.
