Design of an approach slab for cooper E80 loading

(OP)
Hello,

I was wondering if someone has a good reference or design calculations for the design of an approach slab for cooper E80 loading. I am working on the design of a foundation that supports a train scale and am looking for some references.

Thanks

I have a reference for you
Concrete Pipe Handbook Sec 4.44 Railroads. It gives the wheel loads and spacings.

Thank you Richard. I have this info already. I wanted a way to calculate moments on the slab due to the Cooper E80 live load.

RE: Design of an approach slab for cooper E80 loading

Cant you put the load on the slab like you would any other load and calculate? There are some nice books on slabs on grade, just cant think of the authors right now.

I'll send you a design fee for carrying out this work no probs
