Reuse library hex nut dimensions

Reuse library hex nut dimensions

I would like to know the source of the dimensions, for the finished hex nuts specifically, in the reuse library.
Cause I cannot seem to find a match for the Minor diameter and Tapped drill size dimensions in any standards

Thanks
Luke

RE: Reuse library hex nut dimensions

If you're talking about the 'Threaded' part of the nut, that's just for reference and completeness of the model. Unless you're going to actually MANUFACTURE a hex nut, the Machinery library was only intended to provide something for assembly packaging purposes, that is to say that only the outer dimensions of the models were deemed critical.

Thanks for the reply John,
That's what I was thinking too, was just trying to be thorough.

Thanks & Regards
Luke
