Quasi-static load problem

Quasi-static load problem

Quasi-static load problem

(OP)
Hey there!

I'm a postgrad student trying to simulate a quasi-static axial crushing of an aluminium tube. I'm not too good with ABAQUS and interpreting the code is still an issue for me. I produced this input file with the CAE and I can't get it to crush the tube. I don't know why, and yes I have searched in the manuals but being stuck on this for the past 5 days has led to this point. If any of you could help me out fixing it and explaining to me what I'm doing wrong I'd greatly appreciate it. I've also attached the cae file in case you wish to take a look at what I did.

I also forgot to mention that I'm trying to obtain the energy of the whole model, the reaction forces on the plates, and the displacement of the plates. I hope I did this correctly using the reference points of the plates.
