directlogic 250-1 run error

directlogic 250-1 run error

directlogic 250-1 run error

(OP)
After using Directsoft5 to check the status of my PLC I can't bring the dang thing back to run. Checked all the hardware connections downstream, no faults in the connections, all the lights are good. Put the PLC back into term to check on the programming, it's all good. Can't figure out where the fault is.

RE: directlogic 250-1 run error

Several thoughts:
You have to cycle the switch to RUN to get the PLC to start again after putting it in PGM or TERM. This applies even if you ultimately need the switch in TERM to talk to an HMI, etc...

Alternatively, you can use the MODE button (looks like a stoplight in the toolbar) in DirectSOFT to put the PLC in RUN, provided you can get online with it.

Is the PLC is in fault because of a missing END statement in the program, etc? Can you go online with the PLC using DirectSOFT?

Look at the PDF of the manual (ch 3) here:
http://www.automationdirect.com/static/manuals/d2u...

p 3-12 and 3-13 should help answer your questions.

Can you post a ZIP'ed copy of the program?
