BLDC - speadsheet calculation available?

BLDC - speadsheet calculation available?

BLDC - speadsheet calculation available?

(OP)
Hi there,
I am given a 12V BLDC motor, a desired speed 400rpm (with 12:1 gear reduction), and a no torque 1.5 in-lb. I am asked to find other values: no load current, no load speed, rated current, rated speed, rated torque, rated power, stall torque, stall current, etc...
I need help with the claculation (a excel speadsheet for this calculation would be greatly helpful). Do we have to assume any reasonal value to help calculate others? Please advise asap. Thanks.
GenJT

RE: BLDC - speadsheet calculation available?

Wouldn't you rather have a textbook?

Electric Motors and Drives, Austin Hughes, 3rd ed. 2006, Elsevier.

It's not a spreadsheet - what you need can be done on the back of an envelope.

RE: BLDC - speadsheet calculation available?

"Here's all the info I have. I don't know what to do with it." Sounds like a student posting.

That is not what this forum is for. I suggest you make some attempts to solve the problem and then post your questions.
