Expansion joint & Bearings modelling using NEABS computer program

Expansion joint & Bearings modelling using NEABS computer program

(OP)
Hello Everyone;
Did anybody of you know how to model the expansion joint and bearings of a bridge using Neabs computer program.In fact,This software has only four elements which are:beam element,truss element,boundary spring element,and expansion joint element.My bridge has four expansion joints located at piers 1,2,4,5.The deck is connected to the pier beam cap by eight bearings:four at the left of the expansion joint and four at the right of it.Meanwhile,I am trying now to model these by three expansion joint elements:one to model the discontinuty between the two parts of the bridge,and the other two to model the vertical support of the bearings at the left and the right of each expansion joint at each pier.By using this alternative,I have some doubt about some parameters such as impact stiffness,friction stiffness,and friction coefficient,as well as the 2 horizontal stiffnesses,the vertical stiffness,the 2 rotational stiffnesses,and the torsional stiffness of elastomeric bearings.
Finally,please note that the expansion joint is polystrene,and the bearings are elastomeric with shear rate of 19.2k/in.
Please reply to me ASAP and if someone has any details about properties of elastomeric bearings,I need all these details.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks a lot.
