Equation for curve

Equation for curve

Equation for curve

(OP)
Hi,

I wish to draw a hypoellips curve and for this I will use and equation where the "square root" is a part. But it shall be posible to take root expressed by a real
The ground equation is
x^a + y^a =1
For the curve could this be expressed as follow
x = t
z = 0
y =  (1 - (x)^a ) -^a

for bescribing y I wish the correct syntax instead of -^a.

Thanks

RE: Equation for curve

I'm not sure what you want, but I think you are looking for x^(-y) and what is the same 1/(x^y). Tow forms to write the same
