ANSYS Fluent 14.0, dimension problem?

Why I cannot display the value of dimension in my sketching? You can clearly see that my vertical dimension is 16.25 in, and my horizontal dimension is 7.07 in, but the values in the sketching is weird?

And the triad is supposed to be X, Y and Z? Instead it is shown as V,W and X.

Can someone teach me how to fix it?

RE: ANSYS Fluent 14.0, dimension problem?

Hi SteveFinnan,

From the image you have shown, I would expect this error to be a bug. You aren't running any scripts at this level, right?

Are you using an active license version of ANSYS? If it is not a University version, I would suggest updating to the current version 14.5.7. Often there are expanded options and minor bug updates as the versions update, so hopefully this will take care of your problem.

Otherwise, does this problem persist to other attributes in your modeling? Or is it just in this area of the design modeler? Right now it seems like it would be annoying, but so long as you can actually still apply definitions and the problem remains to this area, you may be lucky and have just an aesthetic issue. :)
