In-Line Desanding Package

In-Line Desanding Package

(OP)
Good day to everybody,

I was wandering if somebody can point me in the right direction regarding available technologies for in-line sand removal, their characteristics, and especially with some hands-on experience with these systems.

Multiport Selector Valves (MSV) are feeding dedicated trunklines in several gathering stations, and we need to make sure that as much sand as possible will be removed before the production stream (consisiting of lean gas, produced water, and formation sand) will enter these trunklines. The available plot space for sand removal devices is very small and we are forced to use something with rather small footprint. We have already investigated the option to perform de-sanding at the Wellheads but that came out to be a project killer (extremely high cost).

Sand removal requirements are a bit vague, but for the sake of clarity let's say we are looking to remove >98% of sand particles.

Production declines over the years down to 10% of initial figure (for turndown consideration).

If you need any other information, let me know.
Thank you in advance,
