What is thin-wall?

What is thin-wall?

(OP)
How do I find out what it is thin-wall, according to item 11 of ASTM A-106?

Please friends, if possible with some examples.

Thank you all

RE: What is thin-wall?

No clue what you are asking regarding thin wall. Item 11 is what? There is Section 11 in ASTM A 106, which deals with Bending Requirements. Please re-state your question.

Thank you and sorry for the confusion. You are correct.
I do not quite understand what is thin-wall section 16, item 16.2 of ASTM A-106, or 11.2 of ASTM A-530.
Please friends, if possible with some examples.

Thank you all

RE: What is thin-wall?

Section 11.2 of A-530 deals with ordered lengths of forged and bored. cast and CastCold-wrought pipe. Per 10.2 "Thin wall pipes pipes are defined as having a wall thickness of 3% or less of the outside diameter."
