Volume of the model as a parameter

Volume of the model as a parameter

(OP)
Hi Everyone,
I am trying to get one problem solved. I am making a model, which has to have an exact value for its volume. I do a lot of editing using X-form. Can I make it so that when I edit a part of a body and make the volume reduced, the system adds the needed amount of material to other part (some simple feature like extrusion). I am using NX 8.5.
Thanks in advance!
Alex.

RE: Volume of the model as a parameter

The below thread may help you:
It briefly mentions two things; Goal Seek and Optimaization Wizard. You need to pay extra for the Optimazation Wizard.
I have used Goal Seek when creating a gas tank that I wanted to be a certain volume.
Maybe read the NX Doc on these two things, and I will try to help more when I get back to work in a couple days.
