What arrangement are we in?

What arrangement are we in?

What arrangement are we in?

(OP)
I am in NX7.5. I have a large assembly with multiple arrangements. With a paticular part instance I would like to know what arrangements it is being used in (not suppresed), or if it is being used at all. I have not been able to find a way to do it. Does anyone know of a way to find this out?

RE: What arrangement are we in?

BrandM,

One options is the Assembly Navigator column "Arrangements". Is that sufficient?

When I saw that column I thought it was the answer, but it appears to tell you what arrangement of the subassembly is being used not what arrangment the subassembly or instance is being used in.

RE: What arrangement are we in?

Select the top level assembly in the Assembly Navigator, press MB3, hover your cursor over the 'Arrangements' option and a list of Arrangements will be displayed where the one that is NOT grayed-out is the Arrangement currently in effect.

In the navigator under the arrangement that is in effect the instances that are in effect are unsuppresed and the instances that are not in effect are suppressed. I would like to know if there is a way to pick a supppresd instance in this arrangement and be able to find out what arrangements that instance will be in effect in. The reason I would like to know this is that I have a big assembly with many arrangements that I have deleted some arrangements from and would like to know if any of the instances are not used in any arrangements so that they could also be deleted.
