(OP)
in english units when the suction specifc speed of a pump is 11000 with glow in gpm, head in ft what is the equivalent NSS in SI units when the flow is in m3/sec, and when it is in m3/hr?

thank you

RE: suction specific speed

NSS is a dimensionless number.

RE: suction specific speed

NSS of 1100 in metric terms is 213.

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)

RE: suction specific speed

the standard Flow unit for Nss (metric) is m^3/sec. the conversion between US and SI units is

Nss(US)=Nss(SI)*51.64

RE: suction specific speed

Also,

Artisi is missing a zero (1100), it should be 11,000.
