Stent analysis

Stent analysis

Hi,

I am working on stent analysis.
The stress values are much higher than tensile strength.
The document below has stent design with analysis.
Could you please suggest me?

Thanks in advance.

RE: Stent analysis

Have you included elastic-plastic material properties?

Also, you might want to reconsider using a pressure boundary condition to expand your stent. I think that the best way to capture that behavior is probably to expand a cylindrical shell inside of the stent.

Hi,
I have included the material properties as elastic-plastic material.
Probably I will try expanding a cylindrical shell inside the stent.

Thank you for your advice.
