Water demand projection

Water demand projection

Water demand projection

(OP)
Currently I'm designing small urban, 30,000 population, water supply according to my country design manual water demand varies according to mode of services while I'm working with water demand I've only this years data of customers by mode of service ( house tap, yard tap own, yard tap shared and public fountains) there is no any data for the past years i wonder how could I project the mode of service for the design period, 20 years,
I can project depending on the towns growth and by putting a goal to be achieved at the end of the design period but I'm not satisfied
cvg, bimr and other please help

RE: Water demand projection

What's your question?

RE: Water demand projection

Do a regression analysis of town growth over the last 50 years, then consider how this growth can be affected by internal conflicts, political turmoil, gender equality, religious fervors, natural resources, etc...

RE: Water demand projection

without any data, you will need to use data from a similar area and adjust to fit your situation. I am also a bit unsure what your precise question is. can you re-state, more simply. are you developing the water supply, water storage and distribution or both. Are you unsure about water demands, storage requirements or capacity of water supply facilities? is this for an existing or proposed future town? is there industrial water usage also? what about fire flow and other emergency water storage and delivery?

Thanks all. To make it clear my question is how can I project water demand having only one year data?
It is potable water
it is for existing town and all primary and secondary pipes are to be designed and layed only it is a distribution network design. Thanks again
