Pump ID help

Pump ID help

Pump ID help

(OP)
I pulled a pump out of wet well yesterday and part of the pump info tag is missing. It was mounted on slid rails about 18' below grade and has a 3" discharge. It looks like a giant sump pump and has a cast housing. The whole this is painted light blue. I was able to get the following info off the motor.

Model 40sw3-4011ms1
RPM 1725
HP 5
Code 21k97u
PH 3
Volts 460

The pumps is shot and the customer wants to replace it. Can anyone tell me what brand of this is so I can find a replacement? Thanks for the help.

RE: Pump ID help

I'm going to bet Deming brand (Crane Pumps). Not 100 percent certain, though.

Best to you,

Goober Dave

RE: Pump ID help

Looks like a 4-inch, counting the flange bolts. It seems to have a horizontal flanged discharge with a bolted on slide-away mount. Looks like two cables, power and monitoring? I think these rule out Flygt and G-R. Looks like it would fit on a Flygt rail system though.
Look at page 3, near bottom, at #BERS-0400:

So it looks like this:

with the adapter, but it’s not.
I’ll look when I get home.
It might be easier if the diameter and spacing was determined. Also, if that is a water/temperature or ? control cable there may be a clue inside the control system/panel.
