RE: Need help with Extracting Section from plane Automatically

Hi,

As far as I know, Sectioning is available in Assembly Workbench and results can be exported as a CATPart (for example) - for this you have to insert the part in a temporary CATProduct. From there you can get points coordinated.

Or you can use create some additional geometrical elements in part (like plane intersecting the part, get intersections, again points a.s.o.).

The idea is that you have first to create some additional geometry to get what you want.

Did you tried something?

Regards
Fernando
