Auto View Scale Representation in Drafting NX8.5

Auto View Scale Representation in Drafting NX8.5

Auto View Scale Representation in Drafting NX8.5

(OP)
Hi all,

Is there any easy method to have auto view scale representation in Drafting? I have a template part in Drafting that is a master model approach.

John Baker, in an old post, told us to insert a dummy part and reference the view scale from that part. Whenever I called the template for creating a drafting of a new part it updated the view scale. But it doesn't work any more. Any ideas?

Thank you,

spada

RE: Auto View Scale Representation in Drafting NX8.5

Are you talking about the 'Smart Text' to create a note indicating the View Scale?

If so, then yes, there was a problem with that but it appear to have been fixed, at least version NX 8.5.2.3 (which will be released soon) seems to be working fine.

Yes John. I have the NX 8.5.1.3 version. Good to know that it is fixed.

Thank you
