in a flow through pipe from a tank , initially valve is closed which is at the inlet to pipe and full of air from valve on wards to exit point which is pipe other end open to air, how the steady state occurs in this case. as there is pressure head of tank at the start
it accelerates through pipe till end and suddenly converts completely at the exit according the air pressure hence at this time all through velocity attains constant, steady velocity(for ideal) flow.pressure drop occurs in how much length of the and which point of the pipe tank system initially and at start of steady state ( that is pressure drop along pipe till steady rate and after).
in real flows how the initial flow acceleration(first time flow )happens in presence viscous stresses and development of boundary layer
through out pipe till reaches exit point of pipe where v suddenly rises and whole pipe gets adjusted to both the shear stresses and exit air pressure. i want to know how this dynamics settles at a constant rate .how it attains it.
