Mechanical PE exam

Mechanical PE exam

Mechanical PE exam

(OP)
Hello every one,
I'm going on my way to take the PE exam in mechanical engineering
actually I like all the mechanical engineering branches
and I'm a little confused,
some bodies suggested to me to take Thermal and Fluids Systems PM exam
some also suggested Mechanical Systems and Materials PM exam
and most of them says HVAC and Refrigeration PM exam is the most required license

any help about this, which is most required field ?

RE: Mechanical PE exam

If there is still a general discipline in ME, I would take that; then you can specialize and use your hard earned stamp for your specialty. You have no idea where life is going to you and your specialty will depend on the region of the country you settle.

RE: Mechanical PE exam

For the afternoon portion, select the subject with which you have the most experience. I have never had an employer ask me what afternoon portion I took, and it does not appear anywhere on your license. Your work experience will determine whether you are qualified for a job, not which test you took in the afternoon.

Dear fegenbush, I just graduated from my college, took the FE exam and have no experience, I'm from Egypt my dear and you know what!, here we don't choose our favorite field, just try to take our experience in the required field not your favorite field and my question about this, what is the international market required field nowadays.I have the readiness to go in one of these 3 fields.

Thanks for your advance pal.

RE: Mechanical PE exam

Unless things have changed, you take the PE exam after you've been working in that field for 4 years, so it depends on in which field you were working.
