Elements contibute Zero Sequence Fault

Elements contibute Zero Sequence Fault

(OP)

I am currently working on my study

Could someone please explain,
1. How to find the Zero Sequence Impedance of transformer and generator ? (shown figure/attachment)

Actually, the Author have calculated single line ground fault at bus 0.4 KV and only transformer 2 MVA will contribute zero sequence fault to bus 0.4 KV since the neutral connected solid to earth,
and no explanation at bus 6.6 KV.

2. If only 2 MVA Transformer will contribute zero sequence fault to bus 0.4 KV,
which elements will contribute the zero sequence fault to bus 6.6 KV?

3. will the generator contribute zero sequence fault just as tranformer since the neutral generator connected to earth too.

Thanks in advance
Rado

RE: Elements contibute Zero Sequence Fault

You need to find a set of transformer sequence diagrams and all will be clear.

RE: Elements contibute Zero Sequence Fault

There is no zero sequence path from the 10MVA transformer as the primary Wye indicates ungrounded.
