High Quality Image of section view in NX Modeling

Hi All,

NX8.5

What are the options to take High Quality image of a section view in Modeling. I need to get Ray Traced quality image. I have tried PMI , but I have read in this forum that having PMI section views for a assembly of 2000 components is not good idea with respect to performance and usability..

If I want to customize the process , what are the options ? Can I use create PMI view section and then after the Image is taken, delete that section programmatically? Or please suggest if there are any better ways of achieving this ..

Thanks and Appreciate all the help

RE: High Quality Image of section view in NX Modeling

Have you actually tried to use this on your large assembly? I just used PMI to section an Assembly with something over 16,000 Components and it worked fine. Granted, it took a while, but it worked.
