Is there a way to Lock Mate 10 Parts to a single part?

Rather than use the mate function 10 separate times, is there a way to maybe select 10 Parts and use one function to lock it to the one base plate?

I'm not ready to do that yet. Mainly I want all the ten components to be moving in relation to the base component.

RE: Is there a way to Lock Mate 10 Parts to a single part?

You could select the 10 parts and create a sub-assy (only temporary if you want it to be). Then just mate/move the entire sub-assy of those parts as you like.

Once finished and everything is where it needs to be, you can dissolve the sub-assy and fix the individual components in their positions.

RE: Is there a way to Lock Mate 10 Parts to a single part?

Oops ... hit the wrong button.

Open the Mate Manager
Switch to Multiple Mate Mode
Select the Lock mate option
Select the fixed part in the first field, and the parts to be locked in the second field
Click the green check mark
