In the US documents SAE/AMS 2301, 2304 and 2300 are used as one method to define cleanliness for Aircraft-quality Steels. Do any equivalent specifications exist in Europe?

I must have missed this question when it was originally posted.  If you are still interested, CEN adopted ISO 9934 as the official standard for magnetic particle inspection.  You can find this standard as well as some others that may be of interest using the following link:
