Need titanium Ti-6Al-4V orthotropic properties

Need titanium Ti-6Al-4V orthotropic properties

(OP)
I'm looking for the 9 orthotropic properties (3 Young's moduli, 3 shear moduli, 3 Poisson's ratios) for Ti-6Al-4V. These should be for plate or rectangular bar material but not sheet material. I know that the values can be affected by many conditions. However, I just want to see the general effect in FEA simulations compared to assuming isotropic properties. (I have not been able to find this info from any manufacturers -- TIMET, RMI.) Any leads or references would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

CoryPad --

Do you know if this article has the specific material properties that I need? Otherwise I am reluctant to pay $40 to obtain the full text.

My search of Scirus using "Ti-6Al-4V orthotropic" didn't return any suitable results. I am currently searching under "Ti-6Al-4V anisotropic".

Thanks.

RE: Need titanium Ti-6Al-4V orthotropic properties

I do not know for certain what you want and what is in that article. If it does not have what you want, I bet one of its references might. You may need to spend a lot of time and some money to obtain this information.

RE: Need titanium Ti-6Al-4V orthotropic properties

I read part of the article above, and I don't think it has anything to do to what you want.
