BC on contact and constrained surfaces

BC on contact and constrained surfaces

(OP)
Hello ,

i have a problem for my Diploma Thesis . I work on Abaqus and the drawing i upload is the side view of what i am trying to model . It is a connection of two sandwich construction plates .

The blue it is a solid with the properties of a honeycomb core .
The red it is a shell representing the plates of the sandwich and
the black it is the connection corner also modeled as a shell

I want to have a totaly contact between red and blue so i used tie constrain. Between black and red i modeled 4 fasteners and i set a surface contact with pressure-depnted thermal conductance . At ccontacts master is the black and at constrains the red .

I have problem with the boundary conditions . I want to apply temperature BC on every red plate and i want to fix the ``free`` sides of the sandwich constractions (red and blue ) .

Every time i apply only one temperature it is ok . If i apply more than one the it says too many attempts for this increment .

I don´t know what is the problem . Could you please help me ?

Thanks
