Tank Anchorage Requirements as per API 650

Tank Anchorage Requirements as per API 650

Tank Anchorage Requirements as per API 650

(OP)
I am looking to a complete guide in determining anchorage requirements of tank as per API 650. Do anyone have a sample calculation?
Appreciate any help on this.

RE: Tank Anchorage Requirements as per API 650

API 650 Table 5-21 shows the equations for the uplift load on a given tank. These equations could easily be put into a spreadsheet or computer program to determine the most stringent.

If you are talking about the design of the anchors themselves, there are numerous ways to achieve the necessary anchorage. These include, but are not limited to, anchor bolts or anchor straps. 5.12.6 specifically cites AISI E-1 which is an excellent reference.

Also be aware that API-650 has changed the requirements with each new revision lately.
