offshore NUI lighting

Hi,
In an offshore normally unmanned installation is it mandatory to provide a task lighting and escape lighting or is it ok to provide only escape lighting.
Any code reference for the above will be appreciated.

RE: offshore NUI lighting

The IEC61892 series apply for offshore oil&gas installations and IEC61892-2 §11 gives the lighting requirements. The series does not give secial rules for normally unmanned installations and praxis in the Danish North-sea is to have general service light.
Best regards
Preben

hi
Thanks Preben
also API RP 14 F states the same about the lighting. however as you have indicated that in north sea that there is a practice of installing only the service light. does that imply that there is no mandatory requirements for lighting for NUI ?

regards
