Equivalent technique for " Unuse all " option that is available in I-deas Assembly Configu

Hello

I am a long time I-deas user now shifted to UG NX 7.5
In i-deas while working with assembly configuration, there is an option called unuse all. If we use this, every new positions of child parts( Even child parts of sub assemblies) will be stored in the top assy.

Is there any option equivalent to this option in NX 7.5 Assembly arrangements.

RE: Equivalent technique for " Unuse all " option that is available in I-deas Assembly Configu

While I've never used Ideas in any meaningful way, I suspect that perhaps what you're lookin for in NX terms is something referred to as 'Override Position', where you can, at a higher level of an assembly, override Constraints located in lower level sub-assemblies.

To find out more about this, go to the NX Help files and look in

Design -> Assemblies -> Component position commands -> Override a component position
