Sensor setting in DMU Kinematics

Sensor setting in DMU Kinematics

Sensor setting in DMU Kinematics

(OP)
Hi everyboby
In DMU Kinematics in Catia, how is it possible to reset the initial values for the sensors?
In one of my simulations, when the angle between two bars in a joint is zero, sensor gives a value other than zero for this angle. The difference between the measured angles of two different times during a simulation is correct but the value of the angle at the moment is not correct and always there is an offset between the value from the sensor and real value. How is it possible to reset this sensor and remove this offset?

Thanks a bundle in advance

RE: Sensor setting in DMU Kinematics

I dont know if this will work for you but you can try and let us know...

I use this when the 0 of the comand is not well.. at 0!

I put the mechanism in the right 0 position, then my comand is showing a value x, I double click the command in the spec tree and reset to zero the command, the mechanisme does not move and the command value is now 0. It is then easier for me to follow values for my command.

Is your sensor a value from a joint or from a measure?

Can you share your mechanism?

Thanks a lot
the solution works for the joint on which I have applied the reule but it does not work for the sensors
I have sensored the value from a joint nad I want to plot the changes by simulating the mechanism movements
I do not know how to attach the files in this forum
If you give me your email, I will send you the mechanism

RE: Sensor setting in DMU Kinematics

when you reply to a thread, you can attach a document (zip) using the function in the line just under the input text box.

I am using R20
