FeatureName vs ConstraintName

FeatureName vs ConstraintName

FeatureName vs ConstraintName

(OP)
Hi all,

I have question refering the name of planes. If I open the constraint editor (sketcher) it shows a constraint refering to a plane. The plane in the editor is named "DATUM71" but in the part navigator it's called "fixed datum plane (18)". Unfortunately there is no highlighting of the involved plane. Is there somebody out there who has a translation from internal "DATUMxx" to the feature elements "fixed datum plane (xx)"? I have to refurbish old parts, which have bad structure so I've to transform some features. Have a look at the attachment.

Best regards

steeljam

RE: FeatureName vs ConstraintName

I won't work in Nx to control the used references in sketch environment ( Afaik)
The named datum planes never displayed in show and remove constraint, maybe a ug hero tells me how or the story behind.
TIA

sorry new in NX
regards
Erwin
