Hole Table

Hole Table

Hole Table

(OP)
Hi, when I create hole table (insert->table->hole table) nx doesn't list them in the same order as I picked them. What is the problem? It's pretty annoying, since I have a lot of holes to put in table. I'm using nx6.
Thanks.

RE: Hole Table

Both the order in which the holes are listed and the assigned hole numbers are 'hard-coded'. Note that this behavior remains unchanged through NX 8.5. However, starting with the next version of NX (the one after NX 8.5), while the order in which the holes are listed in the table; grouped by size and type, starting with the smallest threaded hole and ending with the largest simple hole, has not changed, the hole numbers will now be assigned in the order that they were explicitly selected. Note that if the view was selected rather then the holes themselves, then the numbers will be assigned as they're being done now, based on which holes ended up in which group in the table.
