Export dwg to 1:1 scale
Export dwg to 1:1 scale
(OP)
When using the drafting templates we sometimes have to scale parts in order for them to fit.
Sending these files to our subcontractors sometimes results in them lasering the part on scale.
Can anyone suggest a better method or a way to automatically export your drawings to a 1:1 scale?

@Sdeters: I'm trying to avoid having to create multiple drawings, but I'm afraid that will be the only solution.

we export our Drawings always with 2D Exchange
and the settings are:
Output to: Drafting
Output As: DWG File
Then in ACAD you get a layout similar to the NX DWG and the geometry is in scale in the model area.

Thanks for the info, but it doesn't seem to be working properly for bent (and flat-patterned) parts.

IF they do, your process will be far simpler and have fewer errors.
