I need to add a column in the part list of the assembly , that have only a portion of text
of the part name , like this 5555_01.01.03_mounting_plate --> 01.01.03
or if is not possible 5555_01.01.03
because i need this string for the callout (my customer need this string in the callout)
thanks in advance

I haven't found a solution.
And now, i have the same problem with an other costumer,
In this case i need the first 8 character
of name file, to use with the callout.

What version of NX?

I'd go with Agriego's suggestion; a journal can process the assembly and create the component attributes, then use the attribute as the callout.
