HVAC Ducting

(OP)
Can anybody help with air conditioning duct sizing? For example, if I have a concealed indoor unit having a cooling capacity of 12000 btu/hr, how to size the duct? If I have a unit having a higher capacity, what is the advantage of using a plenum box (starting from which capacity do we use a plenum box?)? Some mechanical designs contain ducts with tapered size at grill level; it is helpful for what? how to size a plenum box? how to size the flexible connections between plenum box and grills? why and in which conditions do we use volume dampers? how to size supply and return grills ? Is fiber glass material appropriate for the insulation of AC ducts? What are the best insulation materials?
Sorry for asking too many questions, but I read many articles and I am confused. Thank you in advance for your precious help.

RE: HVAC Ducting

Go find an HVAC contractor and talk to him. In 20 minutes he can answer questions that will take you 3 days to post and reply to on here.
