Units in value fields

Units in value fields

Units in value fields

(OP)
Hi,

When modelling in 3D I always turn off units in value fields because it's just so much quicker that way. However, when I make my drafts I have to remember to turn the units back on or else the weights will not show their units in my BOM.

Besides remembering, is there a trick or a macro that will enable untis in value fields in draft environment and disable them in modelling environments?

Thanks,

Griffin

RE: Units in value fields

Can't you just save it in your templates that way?

RE: Units in value fields

Unfortunately its a user setting not a template setting.
We could do with a qualifier the opposite of /NU (no units) for property text so that you can make sure that units display in a BOM.
Enhancement request anyone?
