non linear in sap2000

(OP)
Hello everybody
i have a simple frame of two columns and one beam.
i'm using the link proprieties and a moment curvature (bilinear) in direction R2
the rest of directions is linear.
when i compare the maximum displacement in R2 in a joint ,i found it the same with the linear displacement
the logical result is to get a greater value i guess !!!
please any suggestions ,and using link/support proprieties is right for the nonlinear time history analysis ?!

RE: non linear in sap2000

You have to change/define your time history load case(s) to be nonlinear. If your only nonlinearity is the NL link, then you have the option of running either modal NL time history or Direct integration NL time history. If you've done that, have you checked to see if your loading was of adequate magnitude to cause NL behavior? If that info doesn't help, give more relevant details about your model
