Ansys solver server machine solution

(OP)
Hi everyone!
I would like to know if there is any CAE server architecture to help me in Ansys solver calculation.
I have a three laptops terminals in my company and i would like to add a main server so that i can do the solver calculation and release the other three laptops for the normal work (email, pdf , word, excel), is there any tip you can give?

Thank you!!
João

RE: Ansys solver server machine solution

Hi Jaoa,

I think you may want to use the RSM (Remote Solve Manager) function of ANSYS. I have lightly used it in the past, but I am not sure if you need a special license for this or not. If you have it though, you should be able to use the computer with it installed like a virtual machine from any of those other allowed machines on your network.

You may need to contact ANSYS directly to ask about this if you are not sure though. They should be willing to assist you directly, since it is a licensing and set-up concern.

Hope that helps! :)
