deleting multiple items in drawing mode - Pro/E 2001

deleting multiple items in drawing mode - Pro/E 2001

(OP)
We have recently switched from Pro/E 2000i² to 2001.  In drawing mode, the menus are different.  I can't figure out how to select multiple entities so I can delete them at the same time.  I know I can hold down "shift" and select them one by one, but that takes too long.  I want to be able to "pick many" and select them all, then delete them all. Is this possible in version 2001?

Never mind!! I just figured it out.  I am such a jackass.
There is a button you can put on the toolbar "delete many objects".
I have been struggling with this for an hour.

RE: deleting multiple items in drawing mode - Pro/E 2001

This can be possible if you do it with cut rather than delete.

Go to - EDIT - CUT-PICKMANY-Create a box which will include all the entities which you want to delete - DONE.

Also, you can pick entities one by one under PICK option.

Cheers..
