European Steel Section Properties

European Steel Section Properties

(OP)
I've got a design for an industrial structure that was built in europe, but now the company wants to build a similar structure in the US. The existing drawings use european section designations such as FL 80x8, and HE180A, could someone please point me to where I can find section properties for these shapes?

RE: European Steel Section Properties

I use "Steel Profiles" app by Matteo Rossi that has AISC, CAN, EU, and UK sections.

The app states that a HE180A section is a wide flange of h = 171mm, d = 180mm, tf = 9.5mm and tw = 6.0mm

A FL 80x8 is not listed, but it is possibly Flat Bar 80mm x 8mm?

RE: European Steel Section Properties

http://www.mcb.nl/ in Holland (Nederland) is one of the biggest steel suppliers in our region.
They have an excellent website, and they have a catalogue which is considered the "bible" of steel profiles. They might send you one if you contact them.
