(OP)
I know this topic has been discussed in the past and I've read mixed reviews. Now that Windchill 10 is out I'd like to see if anything has changed.

Is anyone on Windchill 10 and Solidworks?

I'm currently debating using Windchill and EPDM. I'm on a Solidworks only system so the tighter integration of EPDM looks nice, however it appears Windchill offers much more functionality if required down the road.

Any feedback would be much appreciated!

RE: Windchill PDMLink

We are in the same boat as you are currently. However I cannot comment here as to what we are doing, but if you go to my personal website and email me or find my contact information at the Solidworks Forum website and email or Private message me there I will be glad to explain to you what we have decided to do. I might be able to get the PLM admin to reply to you directly as well.

I hope to hear from you soon... Kind Regards,

RE: Windchill PDMLink

We have been using Windchill and SolidWorks since Windchill 7. It was really crude back then. We upgraded to 9 a couple years ago and are about to upgrade to 10 now. It works. Back when my company selected Windchill as its EPDM, it met our company needs the best. It is possible SolidWorks EPDM has approached that level now. Its one of those things that once you select... you live with... the cost to change your mind is big.

Pretty good with SolidWorks

RE: Windchill PDMLink

I can tell you this Dustin... its not more expensive to change it out once you have it inplace. Unless you are one of those companies paying for all of those add-ins.
