Anyone able to help?..
Looking to monitor the loadings of a package S/S transformer to add more capacity.
Cannot access the LV small wiring without a shutdown so was proposing moving the open point in order to feed the intended transformer soley from this section of the 11kV ring.
Will this application cause failure to the Rogowski coil?..or even be achievable ..

RE: Current measurement in 11kV screened single core cables using Rogowski coil.

As with a split core CT, there might be issues with the screen currents. If the screen carries any zero sequence currents, its connection to the system neutral/ground will have to be returned back through the coil window to cancel these currents out.

As you apparently can not tolerate an outage to install metering equipment, if the screen connections have not already been configured to suit this requirement, primary metering (accurately) will not be possible.
