Elusive flange face protectors

We love to use these to cover flange faces and protect the lovely serrations while we're welding up some piping:
Flange Face Protector with Staggered Ribs

What makes them great is the staggered/offset ribbing. Most styles have continuous ribs. Having them staggered allows them to be used on a wide range of pipe schedules and they're easier to remove. But I can't find them anywhere! Can anyone point me to a source for this type of flange face cover?

RE: Elusive flange face protectors

Boy, I wish I'd thought of that.
Can you find a patent number on them?
