Warning signs for open cut?

Warning signs for open cut?

Warning signs for open cut?

(OP)
Hi guys,

I am currently working on a pipeline located inside of Manitoba. Just wondering for those open cut crossings (like small creek crossing or road allowance crossing), is that necessary to put 2 warning signs on both sides? I know it's only required for HDD and HD bore in Alberta. How about open cut trench, in Manitoba?

Thanks! :)

Sheldon

RE: Warning signs for open cut?

No idea about manitoba, but good practice is to put two - One might fall down and people don't always look over their shoulder.... Don't think about the minimum always, if it's cheap, think about what's best in the long term. Putting it in the right place is usually the hardest bit.

My motto: Learn something new every day

Also: There's usually a good reason why everyone does it that way
