Delete Exploded View

Delete Exploded View

Delete Exploded View

(OP)
Using NX 7.5.

I made the mistake of creating an exploded view in one of the predefined views (TFR-TRI 1). Is there any way of deleting the exploded view...Thanks

RE: Delete Exploded View

Switch your view to the un-exploded state, then you can use:
Assemblies -> Exploded Views -> Delete Explosion...

If the explosion is used in any drawing views, you may have to delete those before it will let you delete the explosion itself.

"If the explosion is used in any drawing views, you may have to delete those before it will let you delete the explosion itself."...The drawing view has been deleted.

RE: Delete Exploded View

NX will report where a given explosion is used if you go to: Information -> Assemblies -> Explosion, then choose the explosion from the list and press OK.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. There are no drawing views in this file. The explosion is used in the model view TFR-TRI (my original post incorrectly said TFR-TRI 1). I can't delete system model view TFR-TRI, so I don't know how to delete the explosion...Thanks

Read Cowskis first post again smile

RE: Delete Exploded View

OK, while in the view of interest (the one you created the explosion in) go to...

Assemblies -> Exploded Views -> Hide Explosion

NOW you can go to...

Assemblies -> Exploded Views -> Delete Explosion...

...select the Explosion item and hit OK.
