Interrogating assembly constraints NX8

(OP)
I have a component that shows as fully positioned (black circle) in the status column. Yet when I right click the constraint in the constraint manager and click information, in says "The constraint references geometry that no longer exists". I have 2 questions on this.

1. Why does it show as fully positioned if the referenced geometry no longer exists? Shouldn’t it list the constraint as broken or unsolvable?
2. How can I find out what the original geometry was for the constraint to understand the intent of the constraint?

Thanks, John
